Cookie and Telemetry Notice

Essential storage, optional analytics, and your controls.

Cookie and Telemetry Notice

Version 1.0.1 — effective 4 September 2026

1. Scope and controller

This notice describes RankGlide browser storage and telemetry. The controller is Dominik Hladík, Company ID 08325561, at the address in the Privacy Policy. Contact: [email protected].

2. Essential

Essential storage is always active because it is needed for authentication, security, accessibility, language/theme, consent records and core requests. Minimal Sentry error reporting is identifier-free: no email, username, session replay or performance trace is sent. Essential data is based on contract necessity and legitimate interests, not consent. Sentry/security telemetry is retained for 30 days.

3. Analytics

Analytics storage is off by default. RankGlide loads Google Tag Manager and the Google tag with analytics and advertising consent denied. Before analytics consent, Google may receive limited cookieless measurement and diagnostic signals, including page, device and request information, without setting analytics cookies; these signals may be used for aggregate reporting and modelling. RankGlide does not enable advertising storage, advertising user data or ad personalisation.

If you consent, RankGlide may enable Google Analytics storage, performance tracing, session replay, user identification and a persistent visualisation-view identifier to understand use and diagnose problems. Raw analytics and viewer identifiers are retained for no more than 13 months. RankGlide does not use analytics for targeted advertising or sale of personal information.

Embeds never load GTM, replay, tracing or user identification. They record only non-identifying daily counts and embedding origin.

4. Controls

Use Cookie Settings in the footer to grant or revoke analytics consent. Revocation clears RankGlide analytics identifiers, stops replay and tracing, updates Google consent to denied and reloads the page to disable consent-dependent telemetry. GTM remains loaded in the denied state. A Global Privacy Control signal defaults analytics to denied and overrides stored permission while present. Browser deletion may reset the banner. Consent is voluntary and withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

5. Providers and transfers

Google may receive limited cookieless signals before analytics consent and provide optional analytics after consent. Sentry provides essential error reporting and, after consent, optional replay and tracing. Essential delivery can involve Supabase, Firebase/Google and Cloudflare. International safeguards and rights are described in the Privacy Policy. Production regions, retention and transfer mechanisms are verified before publication.

6. Changes and contact
